Services include home modifications include ramps, lifts, bathroom accessibility, and specialized DME provided by OTs. Services are island wide.

DME Resources

Assistive Technology Resource Center of Hawaii

Services include a DME library, augmentive communication devices, activities of daily living devices, and assistance with finding.

Caregiver Support Groups and Classes

Project Dana

Project Dana has a friendly visitor program, caregiver support classes, and a home safety program for seniors.

Home Repair Services

Honolulu Habitat for Humanity

They have a critical repair program that can help qualifying situations to make necessary repairs.

Office of Elder Affairs

The Elderly Affairs Division (EAD), a division of the Department of Community Services of the City and County of Honolulu, is your local Area Agency on Aging. Its purpose is to plan, support and advocate for programs to promote the well-being of Oahu’s older adults and caregivers and to address and respond to the priority needs of all seniors.
