OT Association of Hawaii

AOTA Mentorship Program

The Rehab and Disabilities Special Interest Section (RDSIS) of AOTA is excited to announce the start of its 2026 Mentorship Program! The RDSIS Standing Committee was hoping that you might forward this program information to your members to let them know about this opportunity. We are hoping to partner with you to extend awareness of this program in the hope of providing more support to our occupational therapy colleagues and to highlight the benefit of membership in both our state and national professional organizations.

Beginning in January and running until June, this program pairs new OT practitioners (within their first 3 years of practice or when transitioning to a new practice setting) with a seasoned OT or OTA mentor. As a mentee, you will gain support and resources to further develop and to gain confidence in your practice. As a mentor, you will gain the opportunity to impart your knowledge and to guide a new practitioner toward success.

The program will be accepting Mentor and Mentee applications until Monday, 12/29 at 11:59 pm CST.

Below are the links to the application forms. Please don’t hesitate to contact the program co-chair Liz Zubenko at elizabeth.zubenko60@gmail.com with any questions.

We look forward to having you as a part of the program!
