AOTA Representative Assembly Representative Position Open
OTAH would like to send our appreciation to Michelle Reed OTR for serving as our RA representative over the last several terms. She has moved closer to family and the we are seeking another representative for this upcoming year. Please email if you’re interested in serving and we will connect you to the RA coordinator.
OTAH Social in April
We are in the midst of planning an OT month social in April so please check back as more details come out.
Community Outreach Corner
This past Saturday was our OTAH and McKinley HS Health Occupation Student Association Health Management class at Lanakila Multipurpose Center. We had many kupuna learn about what OT can offer for the occupation of staying healthy along with students helping to do fall screening. Thank you to Fran Macalintal OTR, Tiffany Miyashiro HOSA Advisor and Patricia Beardeaux Career and Technical Education Resource Teacher from the DOE, and Suzanne Oakland-Chun of Lanakila for assisting with this event to promote wellness.

DME Resources
OTAH is collaborating with the ATRC in Honolulu to help serve our community with a DME resource center. Please check out their website for more information. You can help donate gently used equipment there or access their donation closet and lending library.
Networking Groups
Following the conference, many asked to help create community groups with similar OTPs in the same fields. If you’re interested in helping to network with your practice area, please reach out to us!
