Conference Summary
The 2024 OTAH Conference is a wrap and based on the feedback, it was a successful collaboration with Hawaii Pacific University OTD program at the Aloha Tower Sunset Ballroom.
Here’s a breakdown of the numbers:

We would especially like to recognize the OTAH Education Committee led by Eva Shing, Jana Tsuruda-Chow, Patrice Goodermont, Wendy Tsutsui, Avis Sakata, Virginia Tully, Kari Whitaker, Keri Yamamoto, Pamela Anderson, Donna Lee, Tisha Taba, Cynthia Sears, and Mari Tada for organizing our event.

Health Management Community Education Classes
As part of OTAH’s commitment to giving back to the community and educating consumers on what occupational therapy can offer, we are in need of volunteers on Saturday January 18, 2025 from 10 to 11:30 to help screen healthy seniors at Lanakila Multipurpose Center. We will be working alongside the McKinley High School HOSA (Health Occupations Student Association) club to educate clients and introduce high school students to the field of OT. OT Networking Event
In celebration of OT month is April, we are in the works with planning a networking/social event! Stay tuned for details!
OT Hub
In response to preparatory experiences for students, we will be planning some training events next year to help get them ready for FW and networking with seasoned OTs. If you’re an experienced OT interested in teaching skills or a new grad looking for skill development, we welcome you to join in also. Please stay tuned for more details!
