Meet Your Members: Damian Sempio from Thrive for Life, LLC

Damian received his BS in occupational therapy from the University of Southern California and has been practicing since 2001. His experience spans the healthcare spectrum from geriatrics in the skilled nursing/home health area, adults with spinal cord injuries, to infants and children in school and clinic settings. A natural progression of his career led him to partner with Catia Garell, where they co-founded Thrive For Life LLC in 2011, a home modification and accessibility consulting firm dedicated to improving home access for individuals.

Since starting Thrive For Life, Damian has had the opportunity to partner with healthcare organizations and numerous non-profits who share a similar passion for home access. Though without a doubt, the most rewarding part, has been seeing the smiles when his clients’ have been able to access their homes in new ways. Outside of work, Damian enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, exploring the hidden gems of Hawai’i………and squeezing in a surf every once in a while.
