OT Association of Hawaii

Pediatric Occupational Therapist (Home based/travel/Central Oahu/Ewa/Schofield)

Therapy on the Go, Inc. is seeking part time, full time or contract (preferred) Occupational Therapists (Registered & Licensed in Hawaii) to service pediatric population (generally 3-10 year olds) in the home & community settings. Must have current driver’s license & insurance, professional liability insurance and ability to work independently without supervision in the homes with families and other team members (ABA therapists, SLP’s, teachers, etc.). Looking for part time/contract workers now with potential for full-time in July and after. Therapists must be experienced in sensory integration strategies and have knowledge of feeding techniques for children who are ‘picky eaters’ as primarily the population has Autism or ASD. If willing to learn and have the natural ability to connect with sensitive children, possibilities for training/support can be considered. Need to have excellent communication skills, time management skills and basic word processing skills for documentation requirements/therapy notes. Compensation: $50/hour or more depending on experience, or classification (contracting vs. employee).

Do you folks service children 0 to 3 years of age. If so, how can I go about getting a quote for your services?

      Aloha Michelle,

Unfortunately, we do not do direct servicing for clients. I may suggest calling Kapiolani Hospital to get the names of agencies that may be in the community. Mahalo.
